Creating, Renaming and Moving

In the sciebo app, you can create new folders and rename and move files and folders.

Creating Files & Folders

  1. Select the folder in which you want to create the new folder.
  2. Tap the "+" button at the bottom right. Two new buttons appear.
  3. Tap the button with the "New folder" symbol.
  4. Name the folder.
  5. Tap on "Ok". A new folder is created.

Renaming Files & Folders

  1. Tap the file or folder with your finger for a moment to select it.
  2. Tap the three dots in the upper menu bar to display the context menu.
  3. Select "Rename".
  4. Enter a new name.
  5. Tap "Ok".

Moving Files & Folders

  1. Tap the file or folder with your finger for a moment to select it.
  2. Tap the three dots in the upper menu bar to display the context menu.
  3. Select "Move". This takes you to the top folder level.
  4. Select the folder to which you want to move the file or folder.
  5. Tap on "Select" in the lower menu bar. You will then return to the folder from which the moved item originated.
